Flaming Dixie

  • White whiskey
  • Bourbon
  • Overproof Rum

Fill a shot glass 1/3 full with white whiskey, layer bourbon on top leaving just enough room at the top of the glass for a float of dark overproof room. Ignite, let burn for a short time (around 15 seconds), extinguish, let cool a little and sip while the rum is still warm and slightly caramelised but the white whiskey is still cool underneath.
